Terms of Service

1. Services & eligibility

Career Boost Labs ("we", "us", "our") provides career document preparation services including resume rewrites, LinkedIn profile rewrites, Career Clarity Reports, the Land the Job Kit, and related deliverables ("Services"). Our Services are produced using a combination of proprietary technology (including artificial intelligence) and human review. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to purchase. By purchasing a package or using our tools, you agree to these Terms.

2. Payment

All prices are in USD. Payment is processed securely through Stripe; we do not store your full card details. Your order is confirmed once payment is complete and you receive a confirmation email. Prices and promotions are subject to change without notice but will never change after you have completed a purchase.

3. Delivery estimates

Our stated turnaround (such as "48 hours") is a good-faith target, not a guarantee. Delivery time begins when you submit a complete intake form, not at the time of purchase, and pauses any time we are waiting on information, materials, or clarification from you. Estimates may vary during high-demand periods or for complex orders. If we expect a delay we will let you know, and we will work to deliver promptly. A delay in delivery, on its own, does not entitle you to a refund or other compensation, though we will always work to make it right.

4. Satisfaction guarantee & refunds

Each package includes one free revision within 7 days of delivery. Submit specific, actionable feedback referencing your original intake and we will revise your deliverable to better match your goals. Revisions cover wording, positioning, formatting, and reasonable edits; new target roles, major career changes, or new source documents may require a new order. Additional or excessive revision requests beyond the included round may be declined or quoted separately.

Because our work is custom-built and delivered digitally, completed deliverables are not automatically refundable after delivery. Refunds may still be reviewed in cases such as duplicate orders, accidental purchases, payment errors, or our failure to deliver the purchased Service. 5. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of the information and materials you provide. You represent that the information you submit is truthful and that you have the right to share any documents or content you upload. We rely on what you give us and are not responsible for outcomes that result from inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information. We do not fabricate credentials, employers, dates, metrics, or other facts, and we may decline requests to do so.

6. Acceptable use & abuse

You agree not to misuse the Services, including by submitting fraudulent payment information, attempting unauthorized access, reselling or redistributing our deliverables or tools, or using the Services for unlawful purposes. Filing a payment dispute or chargeback for work that has been delivered, rather than first contacting us to resolve the issue, is a breach of these Terms; we reserve the right to respond to such disputes with records of the order and delivery, and to refuse or suspend Service to anyone who abuses these Terms, our staff, or our refund and revision process.

7. Free tools

Our free resume score, role-fit analysis, and similar tools are automated estimates provided for general informational purposes only. They are not a professional evaluation, hiring prediction, or guarantee of any result, and should not be relied on as the sole basis for any decision.

8. Intellectual property

Upon delivery and full payment, you own the final deliverables we create for you. We retain ownership of our underlying methods, templates, software, and tools, and the right to use anonymized, non-identifiable content for internal quality improvement. We will never sell your personal information or share your documents with third parties for their marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy.

9. No guarantee of outcomes; limitation of liability

We provide career document preparation services. We do not guarantee employment, interviews, job offers, salary increases, recruiter responses, or that any document will pass a specific applicant-tracking system. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services and tools are provided "as is," and our total liability for any claim arising from the Services is limited to the amount you paid for the package at issue. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Career Boost Labs harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of information you provided, your use of the deliverables, or your breach of these Terms.

11. Changes & governing law

We may update these Terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version, and continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, and any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
